I think what happened when the user went to install the updates at a later time … did not know the drive had been swapped out for the newer drive … when the update executed it showed only the revision number such as EV02 or gy15l similar and appeared to them to be a lower revision number than the update revision number EV03 … the update software only showed the viista numbers, and asked if the user wanted to update to a later revision … apparently the update software did not not check for a model number or it would not have asked the user if it wanted to proceed with the update.
